​​Learning and Teaching Build the capacity of teachers to develop high quality learning and teaching strategies in literacy, numeracy and religious education. A specific focus will be on the development of evidence, assessment, and progress monitoring and data analysis processes.  We will continue to learn about, implement and reflect on the use of the BCEO Model of Pedagogy, the gradual release of responsibility model and the effective and expected practices.  The high yield strategies of data walls, review and response meetings and learning walks and talks will provide us with a focus on this implementation and the progress of all our students.   In 2016 we will have a specific focus on learning about and modelling effective practices in teaching numeracy.

Religious Education and Catholic identity Plan and develop processes to support the formation of staff in the context of their vocation, ministry and the religious life of the school.  We will continue to provide opportunities to develop theological knowledge, enhance our prayer life through modelling and guiding staff and to enhance our capacity to provide high quality religious education for all students. This year we will also participate in the validation of our Religious Education program. · The difference between formation, professional learning and religious education.
