Last Friday, we joined with Catholics all over Australia to celebrate and give thanks for Australia's first saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Four Year 6 leaders accompanied Miss Locke and Mrs Waugh Young to St Stephen's Cathedral to join with students from other Brisbane Catholic Education Schools for a special Mass, commemorating this important occasion. The Year 6 students represented our school with pride, remembering the vocation and legacy of Mary MacKillop who was a tireless advocate for the poor and marginalised and through the Sisters of St Joseph worked to provide quality education for all.
