Student in school uniform playing on playground equipment outdoors. Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at St William's School, Grovely. St William’s is a co-educational Catholic primary school, offering placements from Prep to Year 6.

Prep 2027 is currently at capacity, with places becoming available only through student movement. Additional applications received will be added to the waiting pool and assessed in accordance with our Enrolment Policy.

We are accepting applications for Prep 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2031.

How to Enrol

St William’s welcomes applications from all families who are supportive of the values and ethos of our Catholic school community. In line with Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) guidelines, enrolment applications are considered using the following criteria.

Siblings of current or past students.
Baptised Catholics living in the Catholic Parish of St William’s Grovely.
Baptised Catholics living outside the Catholic Parish of St William’s Grovely.
Children of other faiths.
Children who are not catholic but are supportive of the values of a Catholic school.

Online Enrolment Application

An automatic email response will be sent once your application has been lodged notifying you of supporting documents that are required to complete your application. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder.

The email will request the following supporting documents:

Receipt of payment of the non-refundable $100 enrolment application fee
Copy of Full Birth Certificate
Copy of Catholic Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
Evidence of Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency (if parents and/or child were not born in Australia)
Any medical or learning reports
If noted in your application: Legal Documentation, Medical Action Plan and Student Specialist Assessments

Applications for enrolment in Years 1-6 must include recent school report cards.

All applications are considered by the Principal and School Leadership Team. Applications for enrolment to commence during the year are always considered with due regard to the eligibility priority criteria. Offers for enrolment for such applications are contingent upon the availability of places in particular year levels.

Prep Eligibility

St William’s School offers a preparatory year to all children who turn five on or before 30 June of their Prep year.
